Today, with the successful listing of $AB on Binance Alpha, trading activity has increased significantly. However, a sad news came from the community: a user asked the official for help, saying that his wallet (address: NEW182MerALZsCfbnMaUodWhsAKu2v1EkYC2CrK) originally had 30,604,073 $AB, but because he lost his mnemonic, he could no longer access the wallet.
The official provided assistance as soon as possible and verified that the wallet did have a large amount of $AB. However, due to the architectural characteristics of decentralized wallets, if the user loses the mnemonic and does not make any backups, no one (including the project party) can restore the wallet permissions.
We hereby solemnly remind all community members: When using a decentralized wallet, the mnemonic or private key is the core credential for restoring account access rights. Please be sure to back it up properly and store it in a safe offline environment.
Users with higher asset values are advised to consider using hardware wallets or deploying multi-signature (Multisig) solutions to significantly reduce asset risks caused by single point failures.
