The initial phase involved moulding an ultra-thick body that draws inspiration from the sleek forms of a Gibson Explorer and an Ibanez Iceman.

To ensure the integrity of this unusual creation, Burls Art opted for epoxy over acrylic when constructing the guitar’s body, addressing potential leakage concerns that could jeopardise both the guitar's electronics and the aquatic environment within.
The guitar is equipped with a single humbucker positioned at the bridge, cleverly shielded from water exposure by a robust barrier of 16-inch acrylic and silicone.
