EU-US Trade Agreement Review Indefinitely Suspended

On January 21, the Chairman of the European Parliament's International Trade Committee, Lange, announced the indefinite suspension of the review of the EU-US trade agreement. According to PANews, Lange stated that the European Parliament's negotiating team decided to halt the committee's review process on the same day. Lange emphasized that the EU's sovereignty and territorial integrity are currently under threat, making it impossible to proceed with the related work as usual.
