AI startup Callosum has successfully raised $10.25 million in a recent funding round. According to BlockBeats, the company is developing software designed to coordinate AI workloads across various types of chips, aiming to reduce the industry's reliance on running increasingly large models on numerous identical NVIDIA GPUs.
The funding round was led by Plural, a European early-stage venture capital fund. Angel investors such as Charlie Songhurst, Stan Boland of FiveAI, and John Lazar from the Royal Academy of Engineering also participated in the investment.
