According to Ming Pao, this situation has affected the travel plans of tens of thousands of passengers worldwide. As of 5 p.m. yesterday, Hong Kong's Immigration Department reported receiving inquiries from 432 Hong Kong residents in the area regarding updated flight arrangements, with all individuals confirming their safety.
The Airport Authority noted that by 9 p.m. last night, 14 flights had been canceled and one delayed, with an additional 12 flights canceled today. Students from Hong Kong Baptist University and City University are currently in the Middle East and Turkey, while Metropolitan University students are interning in Dubai. Additionally, two tour groups from Wing On Travel, comprising 34 people, are stranded in Dubai and are staying at a hotel.
