Iran has established a temporary three-member body to manage national affairs following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ravanchi. According to Jin10, Ravanchi stated in an interview with MS Now that the new leadership will oversee the country until a new Supreme Leader is elected. The election process will adhere to Iran's constitutional procedures and be carried out by officials elected by the public.
When questioned about communication with the United States, Ravanchi clarified that Iran has not received or sent any messages to the U.S., either directly or through intermediaries. He emphasized that Iran is focused on self-defense and protecting its citizens, describing the ongoing conflict as imposed upon the nation, thus justifying their right to defend themselves.
Ravanchi also condemned the United States and Israel for what he described as indiscriminate attacks on civilians, including students and medical personnel.
