On March 6, local time, Fatih Birol, the Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), stated that logistical disruptions caused by conflicts in the Middle East are posing challenges for many countries. However, according to Jin10, Birol assured that the global oil supply remains sufficient. He made these remarks while attending a meeting in Brussels organized by the European Union to discuss the global energy market situation.
When questioned by the media about whether the IEA is considering tapping into emergency oil reserves, Birol responded that "all options are on the table," but there are currently no plans to utilize them. He emphasized that the issue at hand is not a shortage of oil but rather temporary logistical interruptions.
