SK Hynix Plans U.S. ADR Listing to Boost AI Semiconductor Production

SK Hynix is planning to issue new shares and list American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) in the United States, according to Odaily. The issuance will represent approximately 2.4% of the company's total share capital. The funds raised are intended to expand high-bandwidth memory (HBM) production capacity and advance the construction of the Yongin semiconductor cluster, aiming to strengthen its leadership in the global AI semiconductor market. SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won had previously announced the ADR listing plans at the NVIDIA GTC 2026 Developer Conference.
