On March 24, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier delivered a keynote speech at the 75th anniversary of the German Foreign Ministry's reconstruction. According to Jin10, Steinmeier stated that the war initiated by the United States and Israel against Iran is a clear violation of international law. Previously, the German government had refrained from labeling the conflict as such. Steinmeier described the war as a 'politically catastrophic mistake' and expressed frustration, noting that if the war's goal was to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, it was entirely unnecessary and avoidable. He emphasized that the 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran had significantly reduced the likelihood of Iran obtaining nuclear weapons.
