Australia's Resources Minister Madeleine announced on Thursday that France is among the countries preparing to invest in Australia's critical mineral projects. According to Jin10, this development follows a framework agreement signed between Canberra and the United States, which encourages countries with advanced manufacturing sectors to secure supplies of essential minerals. Australia has initiated a four-year plan to establish industries for minerals like rare earths, which are crucial for future technologies in electronics and defense. Madeleine noted that since the agreement with the U.S., other partners have accelerated their efforts to ensure access to these critical minerals. "France is becoming increasingly active," she stated.
