On March 30, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei stated that Iran's actions are defensive and not directed against regional countries. Baghaei called on neighboring countries to adhere to international law, moral responsibilities, and principles of good neighborliness, ensuring their territories and facilities are not used by the U.S. and Israel for attacks on neighboring states. Baghaei highlighted that the current conflict not only targets Iran but also poses risks of division and instability for the region's future. He stressed that the future of the region should be based on peace, cooperation, and good neighborliness, requiring all parties to maintain a cautious stance in the current situation. Baghaei emphasized that Iran should not be expected to exercise unilateral restraint in the face of aggression, noting that the U.S. and Israel are utilizing regional countries' facilities for related actions.
