U.S. Military Personnel Recovering After F-15E Incident

On April 6, a U.S. military official reported that two crew members from a downed F-15E fighter jet are currently receiving medical treatment at a facility in Landstuhl, Germany. According to BlockBeats, the U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle, a two-seat fighter jet, was shot down over Iran on April 3. Both crew members ejected from the aircraft, with the pilot being rescued shortly thereafter. The second crew member, a weapons systems officer, was also eventually rescued. U.S. President Donald Trump stated on April 5 that the second crew member sustained serious injuries.
