The AI industry is still in the early stages of rapid evolution, according to NeoSoul co-founder Kaelan. Speaking at the Hong Kong Intelligent Crypto Finance Forum, Kaelan emphasized the importance of evaluating AI projects not only based on current products but also on the team's ability to adapt to changes in foundational model capabilities.
Kaelan highlighted that AI entrepreneurship requires both practical and visionary approaches. A practical approach involves having the engineering, product design, and market understanding to create tangible products. Meanwhile, a visionary approach involves building in alignment with the evolution of large models.
He noted that some early AI products may appear as toys, but in emerging industries, such experimental forms should be allowed. Many genuine new paradigms often first appear as experimental products.
