Tether Unveils Advanced Modular Bitcoin Mining Infrastructure

Tether has announced the launch of a new generation of modular Bitcoin mining infrastructure aimed at enhancing energy efficiency, cost control, and scalability through a self-developed high-density computing system. According to Foresight News, this solution is built on application-specific hash board modules and developed in collaboration with Canaan Inc. and ACME Swisstech. The design decouples computing, power supply, and chassis structure, allowing for component-level optimization and flexible upgrades. Unlike traditional integrated mining machines, this design supports on-demand expansion and component replacement, improving thermal management efficiency. Tether stated that the new system can integrate immersion cooling to reduce energy consumption and operational costs while increasing system availability. The architecture also allows for dynamic performance adjustments in real-world environments to meet varying mining site demands. This upgrade builds on Tether's previous open-source Mining OS (MOS) and Mining SDK developments, marking a significant step from software control to hardware design, thereby strengthening its autonomous control over mining infrastructure.
