TON has released an update for mainnet validators, indicating that the influx of new capital into the validation network has led to an increase in both the minimum and maximum effective staking thresholds. According to Odaily, validators are advised to promptly assess whether their current resource allocation is sufficient to continue participating in validation and to consolidate staking positions if conditions allow. The current round of validation requires a minimum staking threshold of 824,000 TON and a maximum of 2,425,000 TON, with expectations for these to rise to 1,000,000 TON and 3,000,000 TON, respectively, in the near future. For validators unable to meet the dual-round staking requirements, TON recommends utilizing staking services or configuring a 1-of-2 round validation mode to maximize capital efficiency.
