Moderna, a major U.S. pharmaceutical company, has announced the initiation of research on a hantavirus vaccine. According to Odaily, the project is currently in its early stages. Moderna has partnered with the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases to conduct initial studies on the vaccine.
Additionally, Moderna is collaborating with the Vaccine Innovation Center at Korea University College of Medicine to develop potential immunization strategies. This research began prior to the outbreak of the "Hongdius" epidemic. Moderna stated, "These efforts are still in the early stages and are ongoing."
