China tourism stocks rose after data showed strong early booking demand for the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday period, according to ETNet.
Qunar Travel said hotel bookings for popular cities during the two holidays were up nearly 40% year on year, while hotel bookings for Sept. 28-30 jumped 52% from a year earlier. The three working days between the holidays accounted for 15% of total hotel bookings across the 13-day break, suggesting at least one in seven orders came from travellers taking leave.
On the mainland, Curio Travel (600706) rose 3.3%, Caesar Travel (000796) gained 3.2%, Tianfu Culture Tourism (000558) climbed 2.9%, Zhuhai Duty Free Group (600185) advanced 2.6%, while Tibet Tourism (600749), Xiangyuan Culture Tourism (600576) and Zhangjiajie (000430) also moved higher.
