According to Foresight News, four-time Super Bowl champion and former NFL star, Rob Gronkowski, has agreed to pay $1.9 million to settle a lawsuit with Voyager Digital investors. In 2021, Gronkowski signed on as a brand ambassador, shareholder, and holder of Voyager VGX tokens for Voyager. The company subsequently filed for bankruptcy the following year.
Court documents reveal that in this proposed settlement, all defendants are required to provide a total of $2.425 million in monetary relief, with Gronkowski contributing $1.9 million. The settlement also involves NBA player Victor Oladipo and race car driver Victor Oladipo. The main defendant named in the class-action lawsuit is Mark Cuban, a shareholder of the Dallas Mavericks.
