Allaire noted that cryptocurrencies launched on blockchains and smart contracts could create a trusted environment that users and developers had been lacking on a global scale. Currently, as public blockchains have evolved into their third generation, there are large innovative communities of multiple blockchains competing with each other. These communities are constantly improving and innovating their networks, adding more security, privacy, and transaction throughput. Bitcoin has become one of the largest and most powerful alternative investment tools on the market, with major Wall Street companies setting up ETFs based on BTC. Stablecoins are also gaining popularity, Allaire pointed out. He believes that the world is now in the early stages of cryptocurrency adoption, which he considers 'insanely bullish.'
