According to Odaily, Solana ecosystem Layer 2 network Sonic SVM has recently announced the sale of HyperFuse Guardian Nodes, marking the first node sale within the Solana ecosystem. The official announcement highlights that HyperFuse Guardian Nodes are an essential part of the Sonic Hypergrid framework within the SVM ecosystem, contributing to both security and functionality. Node operators will assist in validating state transitions and enhancing network efficiency. Early adopters have the opportunity to purchase Sonic tokens at a price lower than that offered to venture capitalists during Sonic's $12 million Series A funding round.
The node sale will be conducted in three phases: Tier 1 Raffle on September 16 at 21:00 UTC+8, Whitelist Sale on September 18 at 21:00 UTC+8, and Public Sale on September 19 at 21:00 UTC+8. This node sale is a crucial part of Sonic's strategy to develop the SVM ecosystem and the Solana gaming sector. The company has also revealed partnerships with over 40 game studios and boasts more than 2 million active wallets on its platform.
In June, Sonic announced the completion of a $12 million Series A funding round led by Bitkraft Ventures, with participation from Galaxy Interactive, Big Brain Holdings, and others. The fully diluted token valuation in this round reached $100 million. Sonic's legal entity, Mirror World Labs, has developed proprietary technology called the HyperGrid Framework, which enables horizontal scaling through rollups on the Solana chain.
