Aave Co-Founder Clarifies Misunderstanding About WBTC Proposal

According to Odaily, Aave co-founder Stani recently addressed the confusion surrounding a proposal in the Aave community regarding WBTC. He clarified on X that the proposal to limit WBTC was not an initiative to delist it from Aave. Instead, it was suggested by one of the risk providers to impose restrictions on WBTC. Stani emphasized the importance of understanding Aave DAO before jumping to conclusions. In his comments, Stani urged the community not to spread misinformation. He reiterated that Aave DAO operates as a genuine decentralized autonomous organization, and proposals do not equate to final decisions. Specifically, he pointed out that the current proposal in question is not about shutting down WBTC but rather about implementing certain limitations.
