ECB Official Predicts Two Rate Cuts This Year

According to Odaily, European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council member Yannis Stournaras has indicated the possibility of two interest rate cuts by the ECB this year. Stournaras also anticipates further rate reductions in 2025. He believes that inflation could potentially reach the ECB's 2% target by the first half of 2025, which supports the case for two additional 25 basis point cuts this year.
