Ansem expressed concerns over the lack of meaningful regulatory due diligence by Harris's team, describing the released points as vague and embarrassing. He emphasized that if Harris is serious about her commitment, she needs to address the irreversible damage already inflicted on the industry by her administration. This includes issues like chokepoint 2.0, criminal actions against crypto-friendly banks such as Silvergate, the repeal of SAB121 veto rights, the ongoing lack of meaningful regulation around stablecoins or crypto securities law, and the failure to take any action to remove Gensler, who Ansem claims has shown excessive aggression and negative bias in SEC lawsuits involving cryptocurrencies. Ansem concluded by stating that these shortcomings will not earn Harris any votes from the crypto community.
