According to Foresight News, the Al Launchpad CreatorBid, hosted on Base, announced that its planned public sale on December 9 at Fjord Foundry was disrupted by a DDoS attack and other system breaches, including circumvention of maximum purchase limits. As a result, the sale was unsuccessful. CreatorBid has committed to refunding all funds received during the sale to legitimate participants. The company plans to collaborate with KYC provider Fractal to conduct AML/KYC checks on participants' wallets to ensure that refunds are not issued to malicious actors. The team is currently assessing the next steps for launching the new token. In response to this situation, crypto investigator ZachXBT expressed concerns, stating, "I hope you are aware that Fractal leaked thousands of KYC details earlier this year. If you consider them trustworthy, it seems your team has not conducted basic due diligence."
