Telegram And TON Core Launch Joint Development Competition

According to Foresight News, Telegram and TON Core have announced a new joint development competition with a prize pool ranging from $100,000 to $200,000, which will be distributed based on participants' contributions. The competition tasks include a block validation challenge and a trustless bridge challenge, with participants having the option to choose one or both tasks. The block validation challenge requires participants to propose a new block validation mechanism within TON. This mechanism should aim to reduce resource consumption during block validation, optimize transaction processing and confirmation, and enhance the efficiency and scalability of validators. The trustless bridge challenge focuses on establishing reliable decentralized bridges between TON and other blockchains. This initiative aims to facilitate cross-chain transactions without intermediaries, improve the security of asset transfers between networks, and enable automatic transaction confirmation without the need for trusted parties. The best solutions will have the opportunity to participate in a second phase, which will feature a separate prize pool of approximately the same size.
