Security Alert Issued For AdsPower Users

According to Foresight News, SlowMist founder Yu Jian issued a warning on X regarding a security breach involving the AdsPower fingerprint browser. Users who installed or manually updated extension wallets, such as MetaMask, on AdsPower between January 21 at 18:00 and January 24 at 18:00 (UTC+8) may have downloaded a compromised version. This version contains a backdoor capable of stealing mnemonic phrases or private keys. Users are advised to check their security settings and take necessary precautions to protect their digital assets.
