Tether Reports Record Profits And U.S. Treasury Holdings

According to PANews, Tether has released its fourth-quarter report for 2024, revealing an annual net profit exceeding $13 billion and group equity surpassing $20 billion. In the fourth quarter, Tether's holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds reached $113 billion, setting a new record and positioning Tether as one of the largest holders of U.S. Treasury bonds globally. Additionally, Tether's excess reserves surpassed $7 billion for the first time, marking a 36% annual increase.
