According to Cointelegraph, crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, widely known as 'BitBoy,' has been apprehended in Florida. The arrest follows Armstrong's recent disclosure on social media about an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The Volusia County Division of Corrections in Florida has listed Armstrong as a fugitive from justice, taken into custody on March 25 at 7:18 pm local time.
Armstrong had previously revealed in a social media post on March 21 that the warrants were issued due to his actions while representing himself legally. He admitted to sending emails to Cobb County, Georgia Superior Court Judge Kimberly Childs, which he claims led to the judge deleting her social media accounts. Armstrong's legal troubles are not new; he was also arrested in September 2023 during a livestream outside a former business associate's residence, alleging the associate had his Lamborghini.
Details regarding Armstrong's legal representation remain unclear, and he has not been available for comment. The situation continues to unfold as more information becomes available.
