SEC Establishes Account on Truth Social Platform

According to BlockBeats, U.S. President Donald Trump's social media platform, Truth Social, has gained a new user in the form of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). SEC Chairman Paul Atkins announced that the agency has opened an account on the platform. Truth Social was launched by Trump in October 2021 through the Trump Media & Technology Group. The platform was developed as an alternative to mainstream social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, which had previously banned Trump.
