According to Foresight News, MistTrack has released an analysis of stolen funds for the fourth quarter of 2025. During this period, 300 reports of stolen funds were received, excluding cases reported through other channels. Approximately $1 million was successfully frozen or recovered in nine cases. The primary causes of theft were phishing attacks, scams, and private key leaks. Phishing remains the leading cause of losses, evolving from fake domain names to autocomplete hijacking redirects, and is no longer limited to clicking incorrect links. One victim mistakenly sent 50 million USDT to a fraudulent address with similar characters at the beginning and end.
