Binance Completes Frax Share Mainnet Swap and Rebranding

According to the announcement from Binance, the platform has successfully completed the mainnet swap and rebranding of Frax Share (FXS) to Frax (FRAX). As part of this transition, deposits and withdrawals for the newly rebranded FRAX tokens are now available. Additionally, spot trading for the FRAX/USDT pair commenced on 2026-01-15 at 08:00 (UTC). For users engaged in Spot Copy Trading, the FRAX/USDT pair can be added to their portfolios by adjusting the settings in the Personal Pair Preference section. The distribution of the new tokens was executed at a 1:1 ratio, meaning each FXS token was exchanged for one FRAX token. Users can review their token distribution history through their accounts. The platform allows users to deposit old FXS tokens, both BEP20 and ERC20, and convert them to the new FRAX tokens at a 1:1 ratio using the Convert function. However, Binance has indicated that the option to deposit and convert old FXS tokens may be discontinued without prior notice. Furthermore, withdrawals of the old FXS tokens are no longer supported. Users are encouraged to stay informed about these changes to ensure a smooth transition to the new token system.
