Binance founder CZ will be making his first public appearance at Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai after stepping down from the company's operations completely earlier this year. He leaked this in an X post he made last Thursday.
Crypto community can't wait to hear from CZ
The crypto world has gone crazy after hearing this news, with many top leaders showing their excitement to hear from CZ. Tron founder Justin Sun was among one of the many.
This would also be the first time CZ would be addressing the public after his release from prison after he pleaded guilty to violating U.S anti-money laundering regulations and agreeing to a $50 million fine. Binance also made a settlement of $4.3 billion, making it one of the largest corporate settlements in U.S history.
As part of the settlement also dictates CZ to leave his position as the CEO of Binance while serving four months in prison. Since then, CZ has kept to his word and completely withdrawn from the company's operations.
Despite washing his hands from all the company's operations, CZ retains 90% of the stake in the company, making him among the wealthiest figures in the crypto industry with an estimated net worth of $61 billion.
