Web3 social project BOOM is poised to make its debut on ZKFair today.
They claim to be the first social decentralized application (DApp) on the platform.
Post-launch, BOOM plans to integrate closely with the ZKFair ecosystem, establishing a community-driven Layer2 ecosystem that prioritises fair launches.
Freedom of Speech
Within the BOOM platform, users will reportedly have the capability to express opinions, follow industry influencers, amass followers, and more.
Additionally, users can construct personalised social graphs to uncover Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry trends within their areas of interest.
It remains uncertain whether BOOM, akin to recent socialfi products like The Arena, will eventually resemble a fren.tech clone.
The project has maintained a low profile for a significant portion of 2023, evident from the inactivity observed on their Medium and Twitter pages.
According to BOOM, they are a SocialFi platform connecting Web2.0 and Web3.0.
In 2022, the project stated that their early user base has exceeded 100,000, though these numbers have largely been unverified.
ZKFair Launch
Launched in December this year, ZKFair's airdrop mechanics sparked significant interest last week.
As the "1st community-owned ZK Layer 2," the platform purportedly is focused on fairness within zero knowledge rollups, which they claim are highly unfair and biased towards established nodes.
ZKFair previously announced a community airdrop of 2.5 billion ZKF.
According to them, most new projects endorsed by ZKFair will be launched with a very low valuation of less than $1 million USD.
