Hon Hai Reports Strong Revenue Growth Amid AI Demand

Hon Hai, also known as Foxconn, reported a 35.5% increase in revenue for January, reflecting strong market demand for Nvidia servers amid the global wave of artificial intelligence development. According to Jin10, the company announced last month's revenue at 730 billion New Taiwan dollars, approximately 23 billion USD. However, comparisons with the previous year may be influenced by the Lunar New Year holiday, which fell in January in 2025. The company anticipates a 28% sales growth for the three months ending in March. Hon Hai plays a crucial role in manufacturing servers that house chips for data centers, positioning itself as a key player in Nvidia's AI hardware industry. Despite warnings of overcapacity due to uncertainties in technology monetization, U.S. companies, including Meta and Amazon, continue to invest billions in deploying equipment necessary for training and running AI, benefiting Hon Hai in the process.
