U.S. Dollar Index Rises Amid Currency Exchange Rate Fluctuations

The U.S. Dollar Index, which measures the dollar against six major currencies, increased by 0.21% to close at 97.824. According to Jin10, by the end of the New York foreign exchange market, the euro was trading at $1.1794, down from $1.1809 the previous day. The British pound fell to $1.3549 from $1.3663. Meanwhile, the dollar strengthened against the Japanese yen, trading at 156.90 yen compared to 156.82 yen the day before. It also rose against the Swiss franc, Canadian dollar, and Swedish krona, with exchange rates of 0.7774, 1.3682, and 9.0363 respectively, up from 0.7766, 1.3668, and 8.9864.
