GEOPOLITICS | U.S. Deploys Dual Aircraft Carriers in Middle East

On February 15, satellite images revealed the presence of the U.S. aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln near the coast of Oman. According to Jin10, the same day, the U.S. released footage of the Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group's navigation and flight operations. The Abraham Lincoln arrived in the Middle East in January, and recently, the U.S. has also dispatched the Gerald R. Ford carrier to the region. The last deployment of dual aircraft carriers in the Middle East by the U.S. occurred in April of the previous year, involving the Harry S. Truman and Carl Vinson carrier strike groups, which conducted large-scale airstrikes against Houthi forces in Yemen.
