Metaplanet Reports Significant Revenue Growth and Bitcoin Holdings

Metaplanet, a Japanese Bitcoin treasury company, has released its fiscal year 2025 financial report on the X platform. According to PANews, the company reported a revenue of 8.905 billion yen, marking a 738.3% increase from the previous year. Operating profit reached 6.287 billion yen, showing a remarkable growth of 1694.5%. Metaplanet has emerged as Japan's largest Bitcoin holder, possessing 35,102 Bitcoins by the end of 2025, which accounts for approximately 0.16% of the global Bitcoin supply. This positions the company as the fourth-largest public holder of Bitcoin worldwide. Metaplanet aims to hold 1% of the global Bitcoin supply by 2027 and plans to continue leveraging its "Bitcoin revenue business" as a key driver for profit growth.
