On February 20, Jin10 reported that Germany's Der Spiegel magazine cited sources claiming that Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, the former commander of the Ukrainian military and Ukraine's ambassador to the UK, approved the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines. According to Jin10, the report states that the decision was made by Zaluzhnyi without the approval of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, indicating that the Zelensky administration was unaware of the sabotage plan. It is reported that the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was aware of the plan to explode the Nord Stream pipelines beforehand. In 2022, CIA personnel reportedly met with Ukrainian officials in Kyiv, where Ukrainian experts explained the idea of destroying the gas pipelines to the Americans.
