This initiative requires large companies to build, introduce, or purchase power supplies for new AI data centers, ensuring that American citizens' electricity bills do not increase amid rising demand. Companies participating in the March 4 event include Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, xAI, Oracle, and OpenAI. The effort is being led by Trump, U.S. Energy Secretary Wright, and Michael Kratsios, Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
