The strategists noted that a much weaker report and a rise in unemployment would be necessary to refocus market attention on this week's non-farm data and reverse recent price trends. They believe that given the U.S.'s energy independence and reduced prospects for rate cuts, the dollar should remain strong if oil prices stay elevated.
