U.S. Gasoline Prices Reach 21-Month High Amid Rising Diesel Costs

On March 11, according to Jin10, the American Automobile Association reported that the average gasoline price in the United States has risen to $3.58 per gallon, marking the highest level in over 21 months. Over the past week, gasoline prices have increased by 38 cents, and over the past month, they have surged by 64 cents, representing the largest weekly and monthly gains since March 2022. Currently, gasoline prices are approximately 22% higher than a month ago. Meanwhile, diesel prices in the U.S. have been rising even more rapidly. The latest data shows that the average diesel price has increased by 5 cents to $4.89 per gallon, with a cumulative rise of 79 cents over the past week.
