Journalists in Argentina have expressed concerns about potential insider trading following unusual betting activity on Polymarket regarding February's inflation rate. According to NS3.AI, users on the platform placed significant bets on the inflation rate reaching 2.9% before the official data was released. On the afternoon of the data release, Polymarket recorded wagers totaling $27,885 on the 2.9% figure. Fernando Molina highlighted that three wallets increased their bets from amounts less than $10 to $2,000, $2,000, and $500 just before the announcement.
