Ukraine Deploys Drone Defense Experts to Gulf States Amid Iranian Threats

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on March 17 during a speech at the UK Parliament that Ukrainian expert teams have arrived in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, with plans to proceed to Kuwait. According to Jin10, these teams consist of military experts skilled in drone defense tactics, aiming to assist Gulf countries in countering Iranian drone threats. Zelensky stated that there are currently 201 Ukrainian personnel in the region, with an additional 34 experts ready for deployment. In response, Ibrahim Aziz, Chairman of Iran's Parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, declared that Ukraine has become a legitimate target for Iran due to its assistance to Israel.
