Iran's Parliament Speaker: Iran Ready to Respond to Hostile Actions

Iran's Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated in an interview on March 17 that Iran has no intention of blocking the Strait of Hormuz or attacking neighboring countries. According to Jin10, Ghalibaf emphasized that Iran is being fired upon by its enemies and cannot remain passive, asserting that responding is a natural right that cannot be taken away from Iran. Ghalibaf further mentioned that the United States and Israel believe they can intercept Iranian missiles and destroy Iranian facilities with bombers, but he claimed this is not the case. He assured that Iran is prepared and capable of countering enemy attacks using its own resources and technology.
