Ukraine has reportedly made significant territorial gains in the past month, reclaiming approximately 400 square kilometers in the southern regions of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk. According to Ming Pao, this achievement marks the largest monthly recovery of lost land in 2023 and the first time in over two years that reclaimed territory has exceeded lost ground. The Wall Street Journal reported last Friday that Ukraine's progress was aided by Elon Musk's decision to cut off Russia's access to the Starlink low-orbit satellite internet service, which played a crucial role in the country's efforts to regain control over these areas.
