EDXM International to Launch KRWQ-USDC Perpetual Futures Contract

EDXM International is set to introduce a KRWQ-USDC perpetual futures contract by early April. According to NS3.AI, this initiative aims to tap into the won NDF market, which averages a daily volume of approximately $27 billion. The contract will monitor the won's performance against the dollar on-chain, with settlements in USDC. EDXM claims this structure could reduce trading costs by 50% to 75% compared to traditional NDFs. Meanwhile, South Korea continues to deliberate on stablecoin regulations.
