Brent crude oil prices remain above $112, and the Strait of Hormuz is effectively closed, while the likelihood of interest rate hikes continues to rise. The macro cap for risk assets is lower than a month ago, making it difficult for Bitcoin to sustain prices above $70,000. The expiration date of March 27 cleared $14 billion in risk exposure and eliminated delta hedging flows that previously caused spot prices to fluctuate around key strike price ranges. Without this passive buying and selling support structure, the market is more susceptible to unilateral movements due to reduced capital flows.
