Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick has announced the inclusion of cryptocurrency and prediction markets in the primary agenda for the next legislative session scheduled for January. According to NS3.AI, Patrick stated that one interim task will focus on assessing the alignment of Texas laws and regulations with federal standards in the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors. Additionally, another interim task will examine the oversight of cryptocurrency kiosks across the state.
