According to the announcement from Binance, the leverage and margin tiers for QQQUSDT, SPYUSDT, EWYUSDT, and EWJUSDT USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contracts have been updated as of 2026-04-21 07:30 (UTC). These changes will impact existing positions opened before the update, and users are advised to adjust their positions accordingly to avoid potential expiration of futures running grids. The updated leverage and margin tiers are as follows: For positions with a notional value of 0 to 5,000 USDT, the leverage has been adjusted from 16-20x to 6-10x, with a maintenance margin rate of 5.00%. For positions between 5,000 and 10,000 USDT, the leverage is now 5x, with a maintenance margin rate of 10.00%. Positions ranging from 10,000 to 25,000 USDT will also have a leverage of 5x, maintaining the same margin rate. For larger positions, from 25,000 to 50,000 USDT, the leverage remains at 5x, with a 10.00% margin rate. Positions between 50,000 and 100,000 USDT will have a leverage of 4x, with a 12.50% margin rate. For positions from 100,000 to 500,000 USDT, the leverage is set at 3x, with a 16.67% margin rate. Finally, positions from 500,000 to 8,000,000 USDT will have a leverage of 2x, with a 25.00% margin rate, and positions from 8,000,000 to 15,000,000 USDT will maintain a leverage of 1x, with a 50.00% margin rate.
