A recent report reveals that by the end of March, USDT reserves included gold valued at $19.8 billion, equivalent to approximately 132 metric tons at the market price at that time. According to ChainCatcher, this marks an increase from 126 metric tons at the end of December last year, although gold constitutes only 10% of the reserves.
The majority of USDT reserves are composed of U.S. Treasury securities valued at $117 billion, with Bitcoin accounting for $7 billion. The current circulation of USDT stands at $189.5 billion.
